San Mateo county, California, using X band on many Ford Explorers. Unsure of the freq but the strength was nuts. Not CHP but they patrol 101 and similar

Anderson, South Carolina, HARD X Band lock, blacked out charger, no markings, no lights afaik. Using Uniden R3, so far it has been extremely good against false alarms.

Came off the highway around exit 19 85 southbound and overtook a truck who was barely accelerating and hit about 52 on a 45, didn't come after me but there is this one spot where they like to hide. 99% of people do 55-60 on this road and they don't seem to chase but I know for sure the X band came from him.

Last time I went form NY to GA through North and South Carolina I forgot to enable X band. I never have it enabled. I think I got lucky. I wish there was an up-to-date map of bands used in different states at least on the highways!
