I still wish I had this detector was in working order. When the Redline came out, my 970/ Vector LR was in Cal Mode/ Maintenance needed. I called up and they said they can not address the issue any longer, and the Bel Mag/Escort RL-O was out.

Some good numbers by this guy for its time.

Nice! I found mine a couple years ago.
I had a garage fire and 2 vehicles destroyed back in 2009. I was able to pry open the melted center console and retrieved the detector. The pouch was burnt pretty bad but the detector inside looked okay. Unfortunately, it did get fried and would not turn on again. I bought a GX65 to replace it and was a bit disappointed with the M4 performance versus that S7.

I still have the original box so I popped it back in there and keeping it as a piece of my driving history.

Would be nice to find a Working unit and put it up against the current units in today's market. Sucks that yours is dead.

I'm not sure the K-band would ever turn off with all the K-band pollution by crappy auto manufacturers these days.

The number of K-band I/O saves that thing had was unbelievable.

I loved my vector! It was one of the 1st quality detectors I was able to buy with my own money. I would love to find one that still works
