max 360, vs ixc, what’s the main difference besides directional arrows?

What’s the main difference between these two detectors besides the directional arrows on the 360c. As I’ve heard range orherwise is about the same, unless you get the redline ex.

The iXc & iX are based on the M4 platform. They lack an advanced DSP, and are unable to properly filter out blind spot monitoring (BSM) systems.

The Max 360c is based on the M6 platform, and does have a newer DSP capable of better filtering out BSM systems.

Okay then I’m better off paying a little more and getting the max 360c

Yes, I wouldn't get an M4 detector. At minimum, get at least an M5 based detector if not an M6.

Do you have a budget, and are you open to the idea of buying used?

I am open to getting the m6 platform detector, and used no problem as long as it’s in good operating condition.

this seems like a good buy right, what am I missing out between the old max 360 and 360c?

The Max 360c has a nicer CPU inside, and offers these features:
  • Magnetic Mount Suction Cup
  • Wireless Connectivity (WiFi)
    • Escort Live connectivity directly to the internet via WiFi (instead of only via BlueTooth and the mobile app)
    • Update Firmware over WiFi
    • Update GPS Database over WiFi
  • AutoLoK Sensitivity Mode, Reduces K Sensitivity by 85% for a really quiet city driving experience
  • MRCD Support

I'm getting great value from a max 360 that I got on eBay a couple years ago. Paid as I recall low. $300,s and I think I could sell for around that same $ today.
Virtually identical functions to the 360c (except no Wi-Fi) and true it has BSM filtering that beats my.R7 by far.

Although the Max360 also has MRCD support.
