Hey guys,

Thought I would show off some pics of the install I did on my 2019 Forester Limited.

Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any.

I just purchased the 3D print file from OBeerWANKenobi so I will soon be mounting the RX sensors in those once I get them printed.

Looks good! so jealous of that nice wide open grill! I keep having to deal with tiny holed honeycomb grills lately! When I trade vehicles this will be a consideration !

Cool! Should be pretty bulletproof with the front TX. Are rear shots common in BC?
Almost nonexistent, but times might be changing. there are a couple of officers who might shoot laser from an overpass but as a general rule its 99% front.

Seems like every other car has a better, flatter, grill than mine. Nice work there.

To be honest, I owned an 02 Jetta TDI before the Subaru. That thing was a beast until it went into limo mode. I cut my losses after busting 8 oil pans on logging roads. Needed something beefier to handle logging roads, as well as my shinanigans on the highway living in a small town.

I drive about 40k per year all over the lower mainland BC, so laser is needed. After getting my first excessive speeding ticket and having the vehicle towed for 7 days, the $2650CAD for this set up definitely seems worth it (if you can afford it), given that another excessive speeding ticket (40km+) on BC will result in a 30 day impound and a cost of around 7-8kCAD before lawyers.

Still not "guilty" of excessive speeding yet, so hoping that goes well and I can put a few points back on the license.

Of course there is always a chance of getting shot in the rear, but the extra $1200 doesn't seem worth it right now. I will eventually get rear. I hear in Alberta they are pretty fierce.

Very nice setup. Like mentioned before, get it tested before you start feeling bullet proof.

On a side note, toilet paper in the glove box? Really?

Im am glad you caught that TP in there, and not the McDonalds ketchup.

Also, have you never had *** in your car before? Carry some wipes (or viagra) in that babe magnet!

Very very clean install. Good work.

The inner ocd in me says to flip the drivers side RX head around 😅

You are not the first. I will do them proper once I get the mounts printed!
