A strange connection issue

I started the car this morning and JBV1 and some other apps weren't displayed on my phone screen. So I rebooted, the apps were there, but JBV1 wouldn't start. It did display autostart enabled.
I checked B/T status, the dongle was solid blue, even tried a spare phone, restarted the phone again, restarted V1, restarted the car - nothing. So I gave up, put V1 into Ka mode only and set off.

JBV1 woke up after a couple of minutes driving. I then noticed what sounded like the V1 restarting when power is briefly cut, but only one time. When I got home I air blasted the various ports and plugs, fitted a new dongle to splitter cable (the locking clip on the old one was weak)
It seemed to work OK after that. I hope it stays that way.
Anyone else struck this before?

Can't say that I have. I tend to think these issues are caused on the OS level but I'll defer to the experts.

So far, so good. It's connecting normally. It must have been a dodgy connection on one of the pins.

Quick up date, no further problems since changing the dodgy plug.
