I have probably put 500 miles on the update without a laser false. Don't use MRCD so it's not even on. I recommend updating just for the laser false fix alone. If you use POP detection - you may want to stay where you are as it is gone and replaced by MRCD detection. It also resets your settings - so take a look at them before you update.

Still laser falsing, MRCD falsing and my Compustar remote starter sets Ka off now?? Unfortunately, put it on the shelf and now back to my Redline Ex until something is rectified.

Ya..... I had a variety of issues with it.

1. MRCD false’s.
2. It did pretty poor on the MRCD test.
3. Missed active MRCD trap
4. Ka lock up/ sleeping.
5. Threat navigation wouldn’t countdown and freeze until another alert finally came on.
6. It was giving me live mobile radar alerts even though it wasn’t connected to wifi/BT/ or Escort live. It was in its own.
7. Hit and miss on actual K band lockouts. It was like “Forest Gump“ and his “Box of Chocolates” analogy. “Ya Never Know What Your Gonna Get”.

This was all in about a week and sparingly used. It’s on the shelf. I can’t trust it right now....... but hey! No laser falsing.

Sounds like laser falses were the least of their problems in the beginning...

Would be interesting for someone with a good working 360/c to temporary swap with someone with one that is having issues. Just to see how both react in different environments.

Will the one that was always good start having problems in this new environment.

Will the bad one start acting good

Oh course it would have to be someone trusted.

I asked earlier for Escort to reach out and send me a 360C verified in perfect working condition so I can run them against the same things to eliminate it being a Hardware issue.

Other manufactures have done this for me... in fact, usually it’s their idea. They want to know so they can eliminate things and fix it.

I’ve left an open offer to Escort, but so far all I’ve heard is cricket’s. Up to them.

Let’s settle this once and for all @EscortRadar. Take him up on the offer. If you need a control test first, send it to me. I will validate its operation, including my others that are not sleeping. I am very close to you (Indy). Then you or I send along your 360c along to Heywood.

Just don't try to "update all software" in DT Pro. Fails every-time. At least for me with the 360C it does. Never happened with my EX. All I'm trying to do is a clean install of 1.11 ughhhh.

You might have to update DTP.

I tried it with an older version and kept getting script errors.

Once I updated DTP to the newest version, it went through no problem.

I wouldn’t hold your breath.

I’m resigned to the fact that they’d rather stick to the company script.

You have the problem.
Send it in ( at my cost)
Problem solve ( at least for the time being because I can’t keep reporting issues.)
It was an isolated incident
Nothing to see here.

Like I said, we are a small sample size of users that have had issues with the 360 series. I’d imagine it’s probably bigger in the real world, or consumers that just don’t know what they’re seeing and chalk it up to being normal.

What’s the score here now? 52 to 48?

I uninstalled it, ran a registry cleaner, restarted my computer, then installed the latest version from Escort's site. I even reinstalled the drivers. And switched between multiple cable and ports. No dice, and that was with both my old 360c and new one.

oh well. Better go b*tch on their forum I guess lol.
I was going to suggest that you check ERF for other reports. But their likely answer will be that: a) they haven't heard of that; and b) your detectors need to be sent in for servicing. ;)

I always thought detectors was made and soldered by a computer robot in some factory. I'm not 100% sure but I think a video by escort said each detector was hand built and soldered by someone at there company.

Is it possible some soldering jobs or whatever is important to these detectors in the building process aren't up to par on every one of there detectors at escort??

Computers can be 100% accurate I bet when soldering I bet all day long, but a human hand can't be. Espically if that person has been soldering and making detectors for a 8 hour shift.

Maybe it's human error in the building process making some of there detectors a crap shoot for some.

Only reason I guessing is someone here sent one in and escort reply was something about they removed some solder to lessen the sensitivity on a certain band. WTF

If they never said anything about humans doing all the soldering then I retract this post.

Agreed. But you will never get them to admit it. ;)
Funny thing with that is what was said sometime after the Max was released. I remember Escort defending themselves saying they're a hardware company, not software lol.

Yea, I get that. However, I did not place/post Jon’s number two reason as first choice (crush/hurt Escort) like you did. Why are you doing the testing and work? Trying to get to the bottom of things, or are you trying to do you part to hurt Escort (which taints any results)? My goal.. Get to the bottom of all this, no added agenda.

Ah, it is the arrogant, non communicating (except on forums), greasy hair, pony tail cubicle punk, software folks ruining things for another company. :) ER must have also promoted some in executive positions charge, or oblivious biz management running things?
