New road connecting to I-40 from Maumelle/North Little Rock. This road used to be signed 45 mph when it was a quiet backroad, and now it sports a 30 mph limit (revenue). Of course, the Maumelle PD is already all over it (along with a state trooper, who I've never seen off a state highway/interstate).
As a bonus, a completely unaware driver gets taken down too.

I hate roads that could easily have a 45mph speed limit yet are set way too low at 25 or 30mph. Even the police know that the speed limit is way too low... that’s why they choose to camp on those roads and catch unsuspecting victims... scumbags.

Nice save - I run a DFR7 as well.

And at night with presumably light traffic...I wonder if the first one you saw (ramp down) was another unit somewhere else.

Probably not, my guess is he shut his unit off to go somewhere else or decided to start I/O. He was marked on VVaze.

Yeah absolutely! I don't know if you ever get up in Maumelle or North Little Rock, but pretty much all their units clock drivers, so be sure to watch it. In Little Rock, 90% of LRPD cars don't even have a radar unit!

Its fortunate the Statie left his lights on and was in a lit parking lot. usually theyll switch em off and hide completely in the dark.

PS: your RD reminds me of a cockatiel that is going nuts lol

@ARkaband, you blew my mind here. Unbelievable indeed... Heavy police traffic there armed with 34.XXX guns shooting all over around in the middle of the night. What a road! :D
Thank you. It was very interesting and somewhat annoying with all of this on the same freeway.

Thankfully I'm only on Maumelle Blvd a few times a year when we go to the Jess Odom community center. I know Maumelle PD loves them some traffic patrol though.

Cool videos 👍

Love my DFR7 & DFR9 :)

I noticed that your ramp up is almost identical to mine on my DFR7. Once it reaches maximum ramp it then fluctuates a little bit if you notice it in the video. I often wondered if it was normal.

Ridiculous speed limit. At least they're enforcing it with 34.7 C/O. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, for sure. When the road was a quiet backroad, I would do 65 all day with no issues.

The only way justified to drive with such a speed limit is to go in reverse (sarcasm!).

I drove along that new stretch today just to check it out for the first time. Thanks for the heads-up. Wow, they're all over that area like cockroaches.

Such an annoying piece of road: good thing you had the detector to help you out!

For sure! It's way underposted at 30mph. Maumelle have set this up for an enormous cash-grab!

Makes me want to puke. 🤮
