Hi, all.
Oncoming LEO running 34.7 (seen at 0:40). He also used rear antenna later on after he passed by, but not in the video (was not worth including it, he was targeting someone behind me):

Pretty good detection. Gotta love that R series sensitivity around a bend. Are you sure that was I/O though?
Pretty sure. That LEO is "local" (seen it several times), and that is all he runs. Noticed how it ramped DOWN as he was closing in, then ramped UP right in front of me.. I think the R7 was still latched on, as the LEO did few shots back to back...

That was my next guess....the latch time. Thanks for the video!

Definitely I/O - luckily it seemed like very sloppy I/O, so not a problem with an R7 and traffic ahead. Nice detection around the curve.

Yeas, I think borderline C/O, keeping it for too long at a time, and back to back shots...

I/O Hell, Aka Eastern N.C.
Lucky for you, your boys are still very sloppy with their cute little I/O shots! Hope they don't turn into killers like ALL of the NC State Troopers!

For sure. That was actually same LEO as my post from last night. There is one HP that is pretty quick, and also selective, but I don't see him very often.

Thanks for the input, @RoadDogg!
I like it very much. A whole different game, moving away from the CR97. It's just a unit I can really rely on. Yes, it does have BSM quirks, but once you figure those out in your area, it very solid. Had paid for itself already, within 5 months of purchase.

I haven’t purchased an R7 yet, but I will say my R3 with the latest firmware 1.50 with the K-block notch filter on is very good on BSM filtering.
Maybe I should have held up on buying my Max360c and bought the R7 instead, but I really do like my Max360c a lot when it is working properly.

As for the CR97, I am still using mine some in the city, but I am using my Max360c and R3 much more than the CR97.

I have put off buying an R7 as I am using my budgeted “radar detector” dollars to pick up another radar gun or two in the near future, and the new Radenso Theia when it comes out in 2020. I am also waiting to see if anything new or improved comes out from Valentine Research (in two weeks...lol). With the recent temporary price drop of the R7 to $499, I have been tempted to buy one.

I've heard the 360 is a solid RD as well. I haven't look into the Escort threads much, bit it is up there with the top windshield options. I'm glad it's working for you.

I have definitely had some problems with the Max360c, but when it is working properly, it is a very solid detector. I am about to send this Max360c in for service to Escort for the second time. This unit is my warranty exchange unit that Escort sent me for my first Max360c that was not working properly. They switched the first one out for this one as I was in the 30day return period, and I liked the design of the detector so I opted for the exchange rather than the refund, but my replacement unit hasn’t been trouble free to say the least, but most people that have the Max360c haven’t had the issues that I have had. I guess I have been a little unlucky with the units I have had, but I am covered under warranty through February of 2022, but I hope when I send it back this time, I won’t have to send it back again.

Sound like a bad luck. What exactly are the issues you had with your units?

@RoadDogg, never mind this question. I just watched your latest post/video in this section and did read the issues you have had. Thanks for describing in detail! I am sure this is very helpful for others that have same RD model...
