Amazes me what most people still don't know. Viper has had a smartphone-enabled remote start/security system for years and years. I'm not sure if it can track it but that's obviously an easy thing to do, if it doesn't already. This shouldn't surprise anyone. Guy is crazy but people should be more aware how easy it is to track and mess with cars. I still remember that article coming out some years ago about some hackers controlling FCA's Uconnect crap remotely and slamming on the brakes on a car on the freeway, cutting the engine and power steering, etc. Thankfully they were white hats and were working with FCA to fix it, not trying to screw with people.

I remember when the BMW X series was hacked and stolen via Wifi... My 2010 Kia Beater doesn't even have a serpentine belt or a return fuel line let alone more then a few sensors to run! :buddy:
