NYSP with C/O 34.7 hanging out in the median with the ability to pull out on either side of the highway, as they like to do. You can see him on the left at 0:57. Detection is about 0.7 miles and is pretty standard for what you see on NY interstates with their twists and terrain changes.

At the end Lexus SUV speeds past me and then brakes when it's clearly too late. It's always amusing to see people doing this, especially when using Waze would have informed them about this LEO miles back, not to mention any decent RD. He was either under the tolerance or cosine error was too large for the NYSP to go after him.

The cosine error shouldn't be that big to be honest, especially since he was going way past over PSL (assuming you were doing PSL and not much under).

I was doing exactly 65 in a 65. He was probably doing around 80. Perhaps LEO was not paying attention.

where was this?

Very solid detection!

I dunno, a lot of times I see people BLOWING by the cops without any concern whatsoever. Much of the time there's no consequence for the "speeder".
