So my Miata was in the shop for a month (long story, parts availability...). No battery and everything disconnected because I had the front bumper off. I reconnected everything and it seems to be working (no warnings) but it is stuck in City Mode. WTH?

What do you mean its stuck in City Mode? How are you trying to change it? Have you done the recent update from July? Did you load a new config file after the update?

It was updated and working fine before I pulled the battery. Now, using the App, it will mute, but the mode button and profile button are nonresponsive. It appears to be properly connected (car changes colors with speed appropriately) and the LED blinks blue.

You probably did a firmware update that reset your settings and you did not re-enable the radar detector in the settings.

Would you mind telling me how to re-enable the radar? F/R non-DSP.

Hit Modify Settings on BT and go to the radar section and choose your connected antennas and choose bands, and filters for each antenna and save and download it into the ALP.
