LOl, I have given some kewl arguments here, lost most of them being a new member. I've learned a lot from asking questions, especially from the technical side of the conversations. I love this site as its so entertaining reading about loyal users to any given brand system. Some very well backed experiences and some inexperienced ones. I have become a poorer person due to this hobby, my toys are expensive since joining here...hehe, the wife is going nuts with my purchases. Now I want a Radenso Pro, and I'm looking at a new dog house too, as Ill need one if I buy a Pro. Just don't know where to put it in my car, its wall to wall electronics already. :O)

Cobras best detectors are the ones they bought over from Escort. Escort is the parent company and they bought Cobra so they could compete with Uniden's CB & 2 way radio market. The original Cobra detectors stink, they are cheaper for a reason, I would not trust one to protect me. I do hear good things about the Road Scout, it needs to be tested against the top of the line detectors to see if it can compete against them.

Only had one Cobra detector, and it was a little cheap Walmart buy. It was alright I guess at the time. I have obviously graduated from that a long time ago with Escort, Uniden, and V1. I will say I have owned Cobra CB's which are solid. I mean I pretty sure thats what they are known for.

I currently own a valentine one, this is not for me per say but for my mom, as she doesn’t have a radar at all.

Yes because it's an Escort detector with the Cobra name on the case. Forget any of the detectors that Cobra sold before Escort bought them out. Their cheaper for a reason. The way I look at it, if a detector saves you ONE time it's paid for itself. Spend the extra cash, it's worth it.

I don't know if that's available on the Cobra 360 right now. On my Escort 360c it was added via a firmware update, but to me it's not that good. Too many falsa's I had to shut it off. But I'm covered any way as all the speed & red light cams are in the Escort Live data base.

Does it have access to the escort live database if I were to get the cobra 360?

Yes Cobra is now part of Escort. With Cobra it's called I Radar with Escort it's called Escort Live. It's two different downloads but it's the same app.

You can also sign into Escort Live with your Cobra iRadar login and it works fine.

I don't know the best thing to do is call them. But with this virus thing going on you may not get to talk to anyone. Try it you've got nothing to lose.

My Bel GT360, which the DP360 seems to come from is excellent. Don’t know if Cobra monkeyed around and messed it up. Mine is the best BSM of Escrot based fleet, better range on all Ka. I have grown used to the display and having the arrows inside the OLED. It has the magnetic mount. FYI
