I'm all for it too! Nothing pisses me off more, except a f$%^&#G left lane hog!You knew it was coming.
I'm all for it.
These NC State Troopers will be all over this, you can take that to the bank! All for it. If I were a LEO, I would only ride around popping idiots on their phone. I don’t think I drive a single day that I don’t see people texting and driving.
Now, they need to really go after people if they pass it.
No doubt. These NC State Troopers will be all over this, you can take that to the bank!
I don’t know man, I see people holding a phone and the morons don’t know they are in the world. I don’t really understand why it’s so hard to talk, hold the phone and drive. But, people just can’t do it.I think part b) 1) could use some rewording. I don't think it is unsafe to hold a phone in one hand while talking via speaker phone. There are times where I will talk on the phone while holding both the steering wheel and the phone together in a single hand. But I do agree that this should be a law. My wife and I were just rear-ended over a month ago from a guy on his cell phone. Her back is still messed up and I just got my car back from the shop. It was a pain in the a$$ going through all that.
That's true. Tbh if it wasn't a PITA to use my radio's Bluetooth, I'd be using it. Maybe I need a trucking headsetIts like it never happened here in GA. They would have to make it a 3 point court apperance moving violation to get any kind of reaction.
I have a friend who just went cold turkey from drive texting and says he didn't realize how much work or effort it took to do it until he stopped.
I'm exactly the same way. I don't want to do anything but drive. It has been handy during testing but even having a hands free conversation is very distracting.I seriously do not like talking on the phone when I drive - hands free or not. After a call I usually dont recall well the previous mile(s) I've driven and wonder how I did it. Motor memory I guess.
