Correction DESL lidar.
to summarise in Greece there is both Traffic patrol XR (from personal experience) and Dragoneye (from your post), in addition to other easy to jam guns.
What region should my ALP be to be covered?
It looks like the US version which also has the TX sensor option and the gen 4 hardware (black box) will NOT detect Traffic patrol XR according to another thread in this forum.
If I buy an ALP from say Germany will it detect all of these guns? But then the European version does not come with TX sensors which are important for good Dragoneye jamming.
Why is it all so complicated? Couldn't they just do a global version?
Andi you are a star thank you.
Sorry might be getting confused here. Is Laser Ally and Dragotech Dragoneye the same device? Maybe there has been a name change recently.Andi you are a star thank you.
It is obvious from above that Traffic Patrol XR is included however Dragoneye is not. If anyone affiliated with ALP is reading this please note that we do need Dragoneye in the European version.
@skd,Hello, my friends. Addition for Bulgaria. News has spread that as of next Friday, 16/10/2020, a new tripod camera will be used by the traffic police here, in six cities, including on a tripod. There is not much detailed information for the time being but according to my deepest dig, this should be a "Cordon-M" radar recording system. Still, further update or confirmation is needed. It has been tested for several months now and is not a LIDAR camera this time, thank God, but maybe it's a low-powered radar unit, I don't know. K-band 24.15. Do not turn your K-band detection off and beware for alerts on this channel. If you come across it, please confirm. If a member in this forum knows it well in their country, please share your thoughts. Thank you.
