In Maryland, they post all of the locations where speed cameras may be located. There are perhaps 10 times as many locations listed as there are actual cameras in service. Most of the cameras are portable, and are moved from location to location every few weeks. It's a damnable shell game.IIRC Maryland is one of those "Must be announced" Speed Trap and Speed Enforcement States. I was listening to the local radio station and one of the morning show guys was reading right from the local newspaper where the Speed Traps were going to be working that day (and they still catch local speeders). I think they have to post the fixed Photo Radar locations also on a .gov or .local website also.
Maryland is also a "No Touch" cellphone state. Better have a BT because one can't be handling a cell phone while driving.
