Valentine Research is Getting Killed on Yelp

Take a look at these reviews and they will all be very similar to those threads that pop up every few months around here. Anybody see a pattern? The VR Lady (or ladies) are destroying the brand name. Why would you allow your namesake product to continue to be tarnished by this kind of unprofessional and bizarre, anti-rational behavior? VR has never been a very marketing savvy™ company but these self-inflicted wounds are unbelievable even for a geeky engineer like Mike.

I will say that any smaller and an electron microscope would be required to read the SN. We buy a RD because we can’t see a radar trap 18 miles away.

agreed. I usually have to take a photo of the SN and zoom in to read it.... and ive been nearsighted since I was 12... lol ... still cant read that fricking SN...

I have only ordered from VR twice, and it was just BT dongles. I never had an issue with the ladies... but I ordered off the site. All my V1s were bought as "clean one owners" from members here on RDF...

As for the Sirens at VR, I've not had a problem in the limited contact I've had. Obviously some have.
I guess it's part of VR's charm. What's better, having your skin removed by a sharp tongued receptionist at VR, or some Escort PR hack pissing on your leg and telling you it's raining - nicely?

every single story I read of the people that left bad feedback are suspicious, "I bought the v1 5 years ago and I just opened it"... sure thing, "I want a power chord for the v1 I just stol.. erm my friends" yeah ok.. the best one was the one that the DC guy was trying to buy an RD with a stolen credit card in a different state..., don't tell me you don't have any friends that can order that for you or give them their number.. that goes to tell you how these apps are getting abused accusing business of shitty service because they didn't get away with fraud.
I have purchased 3 v1s in the past 15 years and a few parts, I never had a problem, I was nice to the lady on the phone that was helping me with the order and she was nice to me.

I’ve said it 1 million times that people who answer the phone for a company that receives calls from other people that want to possibly give them money is an incredibly important position. Only an ignorant or foolish business person would take that lightly. This ain’t the 1950s anymore. Maybe somebody should let them know that they actually have competition. Every one of those reviews should have never happened. Every one of them would have been ridiculously easy to have handled ahead of time. Unacceptable.

Rightfully so. I was actually asking about point updates not reflected on the website which then turned into technical stuff as to why I was asking. I forget what it was.

I’ve only called Valentine a few times but never had any problems or complaints. I’m satisfied with the service I received.
