Iphone Sleep Mode - Does V1 Driver Alert

I will try this soon, but with no activity the Iphone goes info sleep mode and screen goes dark. If driver is running in the background, and a new alert comes in, does driver show a notification or does the app open?

iPhone's iOS will never force an app to "open". Instead, the app can send a Notification as per your specs in the settings; i.e. Banner, Alert, or None.

The app being open already in the background will not have an affect on Notifications.
