I know most here probably know that the bluetooth unit for Escort Live has 2 telephone jacks. One is a RJ9 that goes from a power supply (direct connect to fuse box) and the other one is RJ12 which is the typical telephone jack that comes with the standalone RD cigarette coiled wire. This goes from the bluetooth unit to the RD.

Do you guys know how the Rj9 cable is pinned out? e.g. What pin corresponds to what pin in the connectors?
The Rj9 is basically the wire that the Escort Live bluetooth unit use from the power source. I imagine it doesnt not have data/voice specific, just only need a power route?

Thanks!

Are you looking to make your own cable? I can take a look and post the pinouts when I get home (assuming the color pairs are visible, otherwise it might take a bit with the voltmeter).

I really appreciate that! I am giving it to a guy who does custom cable so I can order from him. I believe it was posted here before the website for custom cable.

Thanks again!

It looks like:

4 - not used ------------------------
3 - positive wire
2 - negative wire
1 - not used ------------------------
