The RDFGS for Canada is getting a bit crowded with all the Edmonton reports. So I thought I would compile the data and start a new thread.

LTI Truspeed Lidar (Photo Lidar in St.Albert Only):
- LTI 20/20 Tru Speed and mated it with a Canon Digital Camera and Lens system. Normally mounted in pickup truck shooting out of rear window
- LTI Truspeed S remote lidar unit. Paired with a Canon Digital Camera, hidden in Electrical boxes (as shown below)

- Five year contract awarded to Global Traffic Group Ltd in July 2014 which radar has been replaced with laser.
- The city of St.Albert releases some photo enforcement locations on their website which you can find here
- The ISD program currently has six fixed camera systems (speed on green and red light enforcement) at three intersections – St. Albert Trail at Boudreau Road/Giroux Road, St. Albert Trail at Hebert/Gervais and St. Albert Trail at Bellerose Drive/McKenney Avenue.

- The Dragoncam was purchased by the City of Edmonton on April 23 2013
- Normally shoots at a distance of 115-125 meters (manufacturer states a max of 137 meters from target)
- Operates in leased City of Edmonton vehicles during day light hours only

- SC-300 uses 34.6 Ka Band (Can drift ensure sweeps/band segmentation are set accordingly)
- Mostly Ford F-150's with a canopy, but they use other leased vehicles as well

- "Speed on green", can issue tickets for exceeeding the speed limit while traveling through the intersection

- On average, 4 or 5 units of the 13 Dragoncams are used each day. Operators will use either photo radar or photo laser equipment at one location depending upon which would be most effective due to circumstances such as available daylight.
