So Here I am sitting on the plane... board. Well electronic devices can be left on..hahaha.
So I figure I would play with Escort Live a little. I was amazed at how well it tracked me. I only lost the maps when I lost connectivity.

image.jpg You fly like my grandmother drives - SLOW. Just kidding. Looks like you departed 31L and flew the Canarsie departure.

Was headed out to Narita. BTW Escort live doesn't work in China.... Waze does but no one else is on it.

Isn't Narita in Japan? I really really want to go back :(

I did mark a standstill traffic jam near the runway at SAT (San Antonio Airport)...... what?! It was true! We were sitting in the plane waiting in a queue with a bunch of other planes! :D

Sadly it marked it on the road adjacent:

I wish, sadly I've got like 15k to make it to the top brass and with how unreliable Waze has been for me lately I've kinda given up.

Few years ago I flew into Portland from Texas and used my boonies GPS by the plane window. Fastest speed I saw was 520 mph, I was surprised that it went that high.

With a million miles under me on Delta metal I haven't seen that one... I would remember:) They have a 70's throwback playing now, big hair and 8 tracks.....
4 flights coming home, 32 hours total on Tuesday so I will see what I can log again. International law still requires all devices off, so it may be tougher over here.

The new DL safety video is bland which you can find at FT.

I am DL DM 2MM who does 95% international travel with an average of 28 hours - but up to 40 hours - from take off to landing. Next run is Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon then over to GVA but back to HKG and finally SYD next year.

Hey EV, I understand the pain :) Maybe next year we won't be so heavy with DM's and PM's from non-flight points :).
Keep an eye open, for me... Fly safe.
JR, I am not sure what if anything a radar detector would pick up, it would have to be pointed right at you and fairly strong I would think.
