1.1.3 has just been released and already 1.1.4 is loaded with enough new features for a soon release if Franky decides to.
Franky is the energizer bunny!

When he's not visible on the forum, it's usually not Because of personal affairs as we, but you can bet he's tweaking and twisting code to do what he wants!... At the very least he's mullng over and calculating in his brain... A man of passion!

I want to be the first to thank you Youthan for helping with graphic portion of making the new upcoming USA and euro themes happen.

I love the USA mode! Since I kept bugging you so much I wanted to say thanks! This new theme will be a hot item!

The pace that things are developing is amazing, isn't it? Go Francky!! :D

Are there sample screenshots posted of the new themes?

Also, how's the autolockout AI coming along? That would make things WAY easier for people to have the plug-and-play experience. :)

1.1.3 has a Youthan theme "now named euro theme.
Here is USA theme.. It's the same but colors are for USA (red forward, yellow rear, green sides) notice the signal bars match arrow colors, so at a quick glance you know where its coming from without even having to really see the arrows!

Alan is right, I started the learn lockout (and remove), AI in lockout or also for moving /static , true / false IO will come when enough data to start modeling (and verify the predictability).
Hope to get learn lockout for beta testing within 2 weeks. The test phase will be longer than usual tough. When done I think to give this version a major number such as 1.2.

AI "artificial intelligence. Is even projected" cross fingers "
If we can get enough data from willing data loggers who mark true./ Falses. Moving./static or I/O.
https://www.rdforum.org/showthread.php?p=417422

Hopefully YaV1" Frankys algorithms " can learn from real data input from enthusiasts willing to log.

Exciting stuff!

Awesome. :)

I don't know very much about AI.

The way autolockouts are currently done, it's basically looking for the same frequency range in the same general location for a certain number of times, and if it keeps seeing the same signal there, it goes ahead and creates a lockout for that frequency range with a predefined radius.

If it doesn't see the signal on subsequent passes, it assumes it's some form of IO, a moving false from an Audi, etc.

In general, falses you'd wanna lock out will always be there. Moving falses that come and go won't always be there so you don't want to lock those out.

How does the AI benefit us? How does it change things up? Is it designed to help us predict whether or not an encounter is a false or a legit signal on the first time driving by, before we've done subsequent passes to help us know if we should lock it out?

Plus hopefully AI will be able to recognize moving falses vs Real leo trues.
static falses can simply be locked out , it's the moving ones that are like a knat flying around your head that never go away

That would be amazing... like knowing the difference between a car with blindspot monitoring vs. a real IO shot, or a Cobra false vs a Ka hit. :)

Frankie in can chime in of course but I'm assuming everything we're monitoring for.... true versus false vs moving/static vs I/O. will all be considerations for AI to learn and discriminate.

it's basically looking for the same frequency range in the same general location for a certain number of times, and if it keeps seeing the same signal there, it goes ahead and creates a lockout for that frequency range with a predefined radius.

This is idea, also having the same as now, means 1 lockout can server only 1 alert. The number of time consecutively seen will be a parameter and the number of time consecutively missing also. I was thinking to have 4 / 5 times to "validate" a lockout and 2 times to remove, means after twice in same area an frequency not seen, the "slot" for the lockout is removed.
Of course "moving" false, will be recorded first time, but will probably missing next time and would disappear quickly.

Plus hopefully AI will be able to recognize moving falses vs Real leo trues.

This is were I wish AI to help, being able to recognize a moving before to even try to lock it out, same for I/O if the alert as a "shape" of an IO, will just not lockout but warning you a coming potential IO is possible.

Still plenty of work, but that's all the fun isn’t ?

Small issue that may arise with only having "two" empty attempts. What if I go out at 1am when all the stores are closed and drive past, then past again (two times) now those lockouts are gone.

Maybe you already have this figured out, but just wanted to throw the idea out :)

Just how many times do you sneak out at night after the stores close? :D:D:D

Just kidding...!
This is a valid point for night workers too.

Seems I remember Franky mentioning there could be a custom setting to # of passes you allow. :)

Never seen the door openers off even when the store is closed. Just the switch is thrown into the 'off' position. Even after hours I still get a alert. Anyone else??
