Wow it does not even have a screen you got audio and that was it !!! That is a little before my time my Cobra in 1998 at least had some lights to indicate band and signal strength.

Bands, Haha, I did a search and found it was from 1985. Back in 1985 I would be willing to bet it was still X Band, maybe, but I doubt it K band.
Back then the radar unit used to hang outside the patrol car so it didn't cook the operator.

All Whistlers were dual bands (X and K) from 79 to late 80's when Ka came out. The Whistler 5 used the same antenna as the Spectrum/Q2000 models.
