Both Escort and VR offer a generous 30-day return policy; consider taking advantage of it.

Tell Dad you are leaning towards the Redline yet would consider the less expensive V-1; but you'd like to try it first. I'd be willing to bet he'll like the idea of the arrows and the ability to [reasonablly] track multiple signals, along with your willingness to save him a few bucks. Mere words, or even videos on YouTube, can't demonstrate the feeling of awareness that a V-1 can give you.

If you don't like it, return it and spend the additional money on a Redline. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
You will be better off for the experience.

Hello guys,
Currently i am using a whistler cr90. My dad wants to gift me a new detector since my birthday was on 18th. Im considering selling the CR90 and buying higher end model.
I drive 48 miles on the highway everyday. City driving is pretty limited. I dive about 10-15 over the PSL always. Which radar detector would suit my driving? I was considering a V1 or a max. I like the arrows on V1 though.

Thanks.
