Hi, current in Belgium they use the Redflex radar NK7 261 mobile, it works in all weather conditions day or night, no flash, works in 2 directions, 6 lanes wide.

So now i'm searching for the right detector, any advice ?

The R7 is quite variable with NK7 detection- possibly firmware related, but i'm not sure. The V1G2 is pretty good against the mobile redflex NK7 we have here in NZ. I run mine in All bogeys mode with K-verifier off for best range. I don't have any experience with the latest Escort or Radenso products to provide a fair comment.

Wasn't there something about putting a Genevo Pro M on it's side or something?

You are very welcome to the forum, thanks for joining!
I agree with Dude, I use r7 in Ireland mounted vertically; which gives about 50% extra range.
V1G2 also seems to work, but I have no personal experience with it.
However, I am excited for the new Uniden R4 which will hopefully be even better. Still awaiting test results.
I'm not sure what sort of redflex we get, but sounds similar, vans etc, and detection is probably similar.
I have also tried Genevo Max, but Uniden seems to be better for redflex, from my experience and that or others here.

The R7 and DFR9 and others do well on their side. @Mithheru has shown that. Not sure about Genevo.
In the coming weeks I will be able to test a Genevo pro M which is running supposedly enhanced redflex firmware. I'm temporarily swapping it for my spare R7 so we can share and compare experiences. Based upon his reported experiences with it so far, I would say the Genevo is likely to be over rated. However, a side by side comparison of Genevo and R7 Int 138 should hopefully give a clearer understanding.
