They all eventually get abandoned and they do very few one off fixes. Not sure I’ve seen another vendor do better at that?
AL at least supported my Gen1 CPU for over 5 years before it finally got declared obsolete. With regular updates. When we found the issue and my installer communicated the problem to them on June 1, 2019, the Max Ci 360 wasn't even 2 years old. It was their flagship product back then, and should have still been getting updates.

I don't have wifi in my car and by going with the Max 360 and M2 I save $150. Its seems once the bugs are corrected in the Maxcam 360 it might be a better choice as it has improved radar and the video quality is a little better. However I generally do not speed. I like a radar just in case I am not paying attention to my speed when driving or if your in a slow down in construction area on the highway and everyone is going faster than the 45 but for some reason you get pulled over. I don't need to be warned 2 miles away. I welcome the pros and cons for going with either one that you see.

Thanks
If you are placing value on the cost difference, the DualPro 360 will work with the Escort M2, M2 cameras, and uses the same defender database and Escort Live (renamed iRadar).
It is more modern than the Max 360, from which it is based on.
DP360 very frequently on sale official Cedar eBay site, and the Cedar/Cobra/Escort site for $349.
It is a very pleasant and capable detector to own, very much Escort M360 experience.
