Yeah definitely, @Vortex, the more I think about it, this is not you and not a one off. The Best Buy reviews are at 1.3 stars for similar reasons. ERF is full of complaints too. So far I haven't seen a single person say they are satisfied with the software/app experience. The documentation that came with the MaxCam also is seriously lacking. It's just a combination of a buggy pair of apps, poor documentation, and poor customer service readiness. IMO the only people who are "satisfied" are because they bought it knowing about all of these issues.

Yeah with the experience you're having, sending it back is the right thing to do. It's simply not working for you and it's not your job to bend over backwards working around issues in basic functionality in a $900 product. The only way the manufacturer hears you is by returning the product.So I sent it back, over $900 with the tax I had no choice. Hopefully they will get the software fixed but knowing Escort that could take a long time.
