I haven't used the radar detector in 20 years. But I didn't build up here to Wisconsin I don't know the speed limits and I'm always driving aggressively. It would be nice to have something to give me a little reassurance that I'm not going to get pulled over

There's nothing in your price range that I can think of you recommend to you. The Uniden R3 is a great little detector if you can afford it.

The Cobra DualPro 360 is also in the same price range and does great. $299 on Amazon currently.

All I'm trying to do is download saber for my app on my telephone to be able to detect lasers and police and cameras and all that stuff. I was sent to this site to download saber but I have no idea how to do it

Your better off saving that $100.. save up to a R3 or buy it second-hand.

@Bojangles
honesty of purpose is good..
but, to be literal, no App on your phone or App add-on will detect LIDAR.
.
the driver awareness apps convey crowdsourced info subject to validation by other users. They don't actually detect anything. They notify.
.
If LIDAR detection is the crux of your purpose and $100 is your budget.. I would recommend you to slow down, save up $$ by not being fined.. and search the wealth of RDF info and determine which LIDAR sensor mfg fits your demand.
.
the big 3 driving apps, already maintain RLC databases.
