Where do you live and where do you primarily drive?
New Hampshire, 75% city/town, 25% highway

How do you drive?
10-15 over psl, nothing to crazy

What is your daily drive like?
Mostly city/town driving but will drive on main and back roads.

How long you have been using countermeasures, if at all?
20 years

What is the terrain like where you normally drive?
Curves, hills, not many flat areas

Are there red light and/or speed cams in your area?
No

Do you need / prefer a GPS enabled unit?
No

Are you willing/do you want to use your phone to pair with the RD?
No

Do you face MRCD and/or MRCT in your area?
No

If you have any preconceived notions or thoughts about RDs, please tell us how long you've been using RDs or other units? etc. -- or any other relevant info you think might be important, let us know that as well.
Have a really old Redline original. Was considering upgrading it a while back to the R7 and never did. Just got a new car and figure now is a good time to upgrade (I think anyways) but not sure if anything changed over the last year.

My vote goes for the R7 too. I was also thinking V1 Gen2 at first, but since you do 75% city driving and don't want to pair a phone with your RD, the R7 would do the best at ticking your boxes and staying within your budget.
