So, not a rf30c as you're selling it!
I'd say val1 gen 2 or uniden r7.
Even an r3 would save you a lot of dosh!

You have choices! But, I would use the left over funds for a jammer(dual?) on the front. Slice and dice that however you so choose!

NJ is a tricky state because every single band is in play. If I were you I'd probably try and find a used R3 and then save the rest of the budget for Theia.

Personally, I wouldn't wait for the Theia. I'd leave it a few years to see if it arrives and if it does, is it really that much better than the current best. I also think a jammer is a good idea. But then you might be right!!

Think I'm gonna go with a cheap pos bel GT-1 for the mean time. I lowered the ebay starting price to $749 to be fair as that's all I need to recover. Anything more is a bonus.

@DJFroggy, My vote would be for an R3. I did see that Escort’s Ebay store had the GT-1 for only $149.99, and at that price point, maybe it is worth a try.

My son is visiting from North Carolina this week (I gave him my R3), and I have been running the R3 for the last few days, and I just think the R3 is such an incredible value for the level of performance that you get.

My R3 has a much better ramp up than my RL360c, and it is just an awesome radar detector IMO. The BSM filtering is good to very good too in addition to having great sensitivity.

Good luck on your choice and good luck with your RL360c Ebay listing. I would imagine you will have no problem selling it.

Get a V1G2 or an R7 and a set of front laser jammers. Lidar is heavily used by state police.

On the highways/parkways it's Ka and lidar. Local roads it's everything.

R3, even used. Best bang for the buck.
Cobra DualPro 360 on sale 349 if you must have Autolockouts.
Save for jammers before Theia.
Just an opinion.

I know nothing about the GT-1 so I cant comment.
But please Dr Froggy, dont buy cheap crap!! You'd be better without any detector than driving with a false sense of security!

GT-1 will be sub-par on BSM especially.
The Max II I got my father is a Honda/many other brands BSM detector.
Testing has it catch radar below Pro M levels mostly.

It's only temporary until Theia is released sometime this decade. I would be fine with a batman detector lol. I'll just be taking it easy lol.

I've only been hit with k or ka on the Pkwy and turnpike. X a whole bunch of times. Laser twice. I'd be fine with a fuzz buster lol and highway radar AND driving normally for a little bit.
