I am seeing a couple of reports in the Denver area, but not many.

"Anyone in Colorado?"

The sound of crickets on this post......I'm pretty sure we have ONE Colorado guy here, though I've not heard from him since winter. Then again, I think there's only 5 of us from Utah. (Disclaimer - I'm not FROM Utah, just stuck here)

In Vail, I saw that the Vail PD had some white SUV with a heck of an engine. It was night and he had his radar on in the pull off area so easy to stop early...but I saw him accelerate from 1/4 mile behind me, blow by me, and pull over a guy pulling a trailer that didn't have the brake lights working. Even my wife commented on how quick the Vail PD got there.

I couldn't see the HP cars up close but it fit this profile so I think they are Chargers: http://www.allpar.com/squads/police-cars/chargers-in-use.html

I'm new to this forum, but I've lived in Colorado for about 30 years and have enjoyed the company of an Escort or a Valentine One for that time. Ditto on the comment about watching yourself in resort areas. I'd add a caution about any small town that has a major highway passing through it. Two egregious examples near Denver are the Cities of Lone Tree and Morrison. Both seem bent on raising money with ticket revenue.

Shame you weren't a member here back in 2012. I was out in CO for vacation for a few days.

Ugh I know!!! I never got the memo about this new forum :D

Edit: Well.. then again that's the year my m27s failed (wiring issues, as in the heads weren't mounted correctly[was using magic putty, apparently not very rain resistant as they state] and one of them actually got cut off when it fell off the front of my car ) Anywho, I got tagged with lidar back in May and I beat the ticket, close call so I got my HP 905s now :)

Canon City here. I have lived in Colorado for 52 1/2 years. Grew up in the Denver area, spent 33 1/4 years in Grand Junction and moved to Canon City about 2 years ago.

Sorry I misread that the first time thought you were asking how to beat YOUR ticket, and looks like you only did 1 post so probably won't see this reply. I beat the ticket by filing a motion to dismiss or offer traffic school as required by statute.

Edit: When I got to the court room, cop was impressed with the motion and said look, instead of doing traffic school which I'm sure you can win on with this motion as it is concise, I can just plea you down to a seat belt ticket 0 points $65 fine, less then you'll be paying traffic school anyways. I went with the plea deal for 0 point seat belt ticket which is unheard of for a 4 point speeding ticket.

Hah, well isn't this a f-ing coincidence, you see the court REALLY did not want to order traffic school for an infraction, and my motion proved they must, now there's a bill about to pass striking that language -- http://statebillinfo.com/bills/bills/14/1228_rer.pdf -- I bet I'm the only person to ever use that defense hah!

Another CO member here, will try to keep any updates in the CO encounters thread. So far in the past 5 months, I've had less than three real laser warnings, and a good number of typical radar signals. This includes DD in Denver, regular trips up I-70 into Winter Park, and a road trip to Telluride and back.

Recently left Denver. Use to see lots of laser on I25 off ramps near downtown (Washington, Colfax, Speer and 20th). Also would routinely head up to the mountains on the weekends and found that you would need to do at least +20 psl to get any attention from CSP.

I split time between Colorado and Minnesota. I recently drove out to Breckenridge. From the Colorado/Nebraska border to my door in Breckenridge, I only came across Ka band. LOT's of it on the I-70 corridor. I have seen a possible K band i/o in town and along the way but there were other potential sources. I suspect with the colder weather seeing LIDAR may be slightly less common than it is in summer months. I pick a rabbit and have had ample advance notice with my 9500ci so far. It really is luck of the draw with who gets tagged through that section. I agree that +20 isn't all too uncommon.
