I see the Sti Magnum is really fetching some serious premium prices past few months, and even without the latest Expert Firmware for KA Segmentation. One from Canada around $633.00 Buy it Now on E-Bay.
Dang, the recent ones sold more about $100 more than I sold mine for about a year ago. I made a $100 profit buying and selling a magnum on ebay. I was gonna pay escort to install band segmentation, but they wanted $130, so I sold the one without BS and won one that has it.
The damn thing just sits in my console, but bel has a special nostalgic place in my heart. The only model I have that can beat the magnum with bs/rdr is the v1 g2. The segmented windshield sti often beat my sti-r because of the height advantage. These are amazing units, it's a shame they don't have better K filtering.
Hi there! My name is Michael grover, and I am an explorer. Ever since I've been little, I've loved searching for new things. As a baby, my parents kept finding me in nooks and crannies around the house, "on the search" as they would say. By the age of 5, I had been to every continent on the planet, barring Antarctica. For my 12th birthday, my parents got me diving lessons, by the time I was 13 I could scuba dive to a depth of 40 meters, as well as go cave diving. I got a pilots license at the age of 17, and learned to sail before my 18th birthday. Instead of going to university, I decided to travel around South America, exploring its rich jungles and beautiful landscapes. During my trip, I met my now wife, who was also an explorer. For our honeymoon, we sailed around the Caribbean, where we discovered 3 new islands, which we named after the cats I had growing up. Over the course of my life, I have come across great treasures and wondrous experience, but, in all my life, and all my travels, I'm afraid I have never come across a single person who asked for your opinion.
Interesting to see how much these are going for now. I still have my “Frankenstein” wire bonded sti driver in the original magnesium enclosure upgraded to BS/RDR. It would take a lot to part ways with it, since I value the nostalgia more than a couple hundred bucks. Same with my V1Gen1.
