Every chance I get I try to remember to track the arrows movement when i have taken a Ka hit and my arrows track perfect. 1.8 has worked out well for both of my detectors

Anyone know if the RL360 can be firmware reversed from ver 1.9 back to ver 1.8?

I'm on 1.9 and see no issues. Are you having issues with 1.9? @hamoper

I deleted ver 1.9 and reloaded. All seems to be working as it should with the exception of the K band I/O reaction time. The ramp up could also be improved. It is my hope that escort will improve this, but beginning to lose hope that they will consider it good enough! This is my first experience with an escort product. I will wait another month and make a verdict as to my good or bad experience!

I hear you! K band I/O reaction time is not very good at all. I am sure there will be one gun that performs OK, but from my testing and other's testing, it hasn't improved noticeably. Add to that...it has the worst Ka reaction time of any detector in its class...and it's really quite sad. I am actually embarrassed for them. There is no reason for this kind of performance.

Not by much if any for me. It still has a long delay where I couldn't even react in time to avoid a ticket. Ka I/O on the other hand is stellar.
Stellar compared to its k band reactivity. But subpar still.

The videos I've seen, I dunno, I think it's an acceptable tradeoff for, say, a Max branded detector like the MaxCam. For something carrying the Redline name, I'd like to see an option (like the original RDR option) for switching between QT friendly or additional filtering. But old leaky parking detectors are really hard to filter out without a few hundred ms of Ka delay at least on certain frequencies.

(They definitely can be more clever though about how they approach filtering on a pure software defined platform with a powerful DSP, but hey, what else is new)

What do parking sensors have to do with Ka?

I mean detectors that park their LOs. Cobras in particular try to do VG-2 detection by sitting on 1/3 of 33.8 for around a half second
