My pro m falses to pretty much all Honda's so I'm trying to figure out what you are saying. Wasn't trying to be ignorant.
I am not trying to be short with you, I apologize if I came off that way. I was simply saying that those detectors won't go off to that vehicle everytime you run across it. In fact, it's my experience that k notch may do a tad better than the pro m with that vehicle, but it comes at the cost of making it blind to very strong signals in that k band segment. Keep an eye out in the countermeasures testing forum and you will see what I am talking about. I may appear a bit grumpy because I spent far too much time trying to figure out some crazy test results today. Thankfully @Brainstorm69 got me straightened out to my own ignorance of what was happening.

What’s New in Firmware v1.8

Cedar Electronics is happy to announce the release of version 1.8 firmware. We have made several minor improvements in this release which should continue to improve your experience with the Redline 360c.

Enhancements:

Slight improvement to Ka sensitivity

Reduced false alerts from CAS sensors in GM vehicles (on-going development)

Additional improvements for arrow transitions (on-going development)

Minor bug fixes

How to Get the Update

If you are taking advantage of the Wi-Fi connection in your vehicle or have access to Wi-Fi, you will be prompted for the update once it becomes available. If you are not able to access Wi-Fi, you can connect your Redline 360c to your computer via USB (https://www.escortradar.com/pages/update-your-device). There are two different links on the page depending on if you are using Windows or Mac OS.

Keep the Feedback Coming

We want to keep hearing from you! If you have feedback or suggestions on how to make the Redline 360c even better, send an email to [email protected].
I can confirm that the arrows are worse than 1.7 in this update.

My arrows are much better on 1.8, wonder why yours seem worse. Did you check your detector making sure it is in fact on v1.8 after the update?
Yes sir I did. 1.8 is what is on the display. Just this morning a cop rode past with his K band on constant and my rl360 was going nuts for almost a full mile with the front arrow lit. As the cop drove by, it stayed on the front arrow and only switched to the side arrows when he was already 2-300 feet behind me THEN the rear arrow lit up. Disappointing to say the least.

Very weird, mine are now as good as my Max 360c was and they were pretty damn good!!

Maybe your rear horn is going bad? My arrows prior to v1.7 weren't flipping so I sent it in and sure enough they told me my rear horn was bad. Keep an eye on things and if you feel the rear arrow isn't working properly then I would call CS and set up a service call. These things are sensitive electronics and with all of the vibration from being mounted on our windshields anything can happen.

My RL360c arrows were fine against a constant on source.
Against close range instant on LEO, it would alert rear even though LEO dead ahead 300 meters. After passing by it switched to front. Totally ass backwards.
Other than that arrows were good enough but not perfect.
The Max 360c seemed to hold an edge in arrow behavior in all scenarios.

I hope my rear horn isn't bad. This thing is only 3 weeks old lol. It happened again on the way home from work about an hour ago. I saw the officer on the side of the road with someone he stopped and his Ka was blaring. My RL360C was going nuts with front arrow lit, I passed him. Front arrow still lit. It finally switched to the side arrows about 100ft past him then rear. Very slow.

100 ft is not very far.
How fast were you going?
How many seconds in time?
It doesn't sound horrible if it goes to rear in 300 ft or less at 30-40 mph?

I did some arrow transition videos against radar guns and results something like this: (distance to show rear arrows)
DualPro 360 - 100 ft at 20 mph
Max 360 - 200 ft at 35-40 mph
R7 firm 133 - 170-200 ft at 35-40 mph
R7 firm 135 - 300 - 400 ft at 35-40 mph, worse than that on Ka

I was probably going 25-28mph. I feel it should switch faster. It's definitely better than when I got it. It had 1.3 when I purchased it and the arrow transition was a joke. It has improved substantially but it's not where it should be yet.

The radar signal is typically reflecting off multiple objects before arriving at the detector's horns. There is no control in "casual road test" environment to be able to say for sure what is happening.

I disagree that arrows are better. I have a mobile speed sign near me lately and as I approach it, and for a good mile, it says it is behind me. As I pass it, it, stays... behind me.

I have to say that with version 1.8, I have found the arrows to be much faster then version 1.7

My R360c (v1.8) arrow transition delay is pretty consistently 5 seconds whether a stationary speed sign or LEO passing from the opposite direction
