Hi everyone,

I recently purchased two sets of ALP units. Oth with hifi module.

one is a American one is the Australian market variant.
However, one (on the left in the first photo) has the audio jack and the one on the right doesn’t.
Does anyone know why?
Has it been torn off?

I do have another set which has the audio jack still attached.

I concur. The controller without a 3.5mm jack, is the older, non hi-fi model.

The way to know for sure is plug it in, if it makes a bunch of beeps and tones with button presses/laser hits then it's the basic controller, if it's dead silent then I suppose it could be a damaged hifi pad...

The one without the extra wire is the basic controller that has a small piezo speaker inside that just has tones and no audio amplifier.
