Hello,

Most of us are running Highway Radar & another app for directions (Maps, etc). So, a scaled down Highway Radar Lite without the maps libraries included, and all the logic behind for the map processing should cost less battery and the program should be way smaller.

What do you all think of it?

I find there is negligible impact to my battery running HR.

If I'm on a longer drive, I tend to plug in anyway since I'm likely playing music off my phone etc.

Hi @rigapica
Once you switch the HwR to Arrows, PIP or background mode, the map is no longer running, thus no longer consuming any resources (CPU, mem, data, etc). The only impact of a separate version would be a reduced APK size, which I don't TBH think, worth it.
