First trip with my new Radenso PRO-M. Some concerns.

Hi Guys,

I recently bought my new Radenso PRO-M based on its impressive reviews that I read, specially I was focused on the elimination of false alarms signals, that I read about this radar.
My older and trusted 7.5 year old Escort Redline which had a very long range detection, it wasn't able to eliminate the false signal from the proximity sensors technology on some new cars.
I just made a 10 hours trip using my new PRO-M, expecting to be the best road trip experience, but it was exhausting, my new Radenso every time that I was overpassing a car or truck went into false K1, K2 ,K3 and K4 24.150 frequency alert.
I did reset it and the issue continued.
I stopped trusting my radar on my way back to home.
I hope I didn't made a wrong radar detector purchase decision.

Can you list your settings? Or you can call us at 1-888-RADENSO tomorrow and we can walk through with you our recommended settings. You should have received your Pro M with our recommended settings but just incase update the firmware and then set it back to factory default settings in the menu.

Certainly check those settings with Radenso. I have an older model Radenso XP and do not get even close to that number of false alerts.

I was driving a 2018 Mazda CX5 SUV.
I had the issue while using the auto pilot sistem and then turn it off to see if the problem went away, but it continued.

I have the proximity sensors package option on my vehicle.

I tried Vortex Radar recommended settings for this radar and stock settings. Same issue on both settings.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe it's actually your CX5 causing the falses when you pass other vehicles.

Others can confirm or deny, but I think your BSM is the main source of K Band pollution on highways.

Sorry to hear about the incompatibility of both Mazda and Pro-M. Is there something I can do to fix this issue?

Yes my unit was updated prior to the trip.
The only changes I did were:
Alerts: Freq,
Voice: off,
Ka: Narrow,
Ka Pop: off,
Startup sound: Off,
User area: Off
After the issue I did a reset to factory default, and issue continued.

I had a similar problem with an Escort 360ci system I had installed on my car. My car seemed to be creating the issues. Escort's solution was to disable my BSM system. Not an ideal solution to the problem in my eyes. If Radenso is unable to help you, you may need to return the detector and go with something else. Sorry to hear about your issues.

Shy of cutting the power, you can't turn off most of the BSM collision avoidance systems. Even at that, the systems still broadcast their radar and laser sensors.

Further, at least with my insurance company, if I disable any BSM anti-collision or traction control my insurance is void if I'm in an accident. With Mazda's BSM collision avoidance systems there is a 10% insurance discount because the system is so comprehensive.

Hopefully Radenso does an update to their PRO-M in order to correct the issue with the Mazda CX5 BSM sensor's detection error.

I hope that Radenso PRO-M owners with this type of issue, that we could be credited in exchange for our PRO-M to get the Theia replacement.
