I can provide the file and what magnets were used. It does need a refinement to them (had to run the file to makeup some size to fit). I only ran two, one of each pictured... one I like easier to side the magnets in. If I can get another Escort detector that uses the mag mount, I can refine it. I had to give back both detectors to @Bossdad71 , who supplied them for testing and daily.... ran out of time... 19 days of rain, and no sun on weekends or the PoPo was too scared to be out.

Alas, never seen or met another human or other in possession of a 3D printer. :(

I bought this:

New ESCORT MAX 360c, IX, IXc Radar Mount Brkt Magnetic -2 axis (P-E-MAG)

I removed everything from the mount, then just put the Escort Magnetic right at the top between the two 'ears'. Works perfectly. It is just the adhesive plate and Magnet.

Here are my photos of it:

Enjoy your new RL!
I liked this idea a lot and so I ordered one also and set it up the same way (e.g. adhesive plate and magnet). Worked great for about 4 days and then the adhesive began to giveaway. Great idea and I may try again replacing with stronger adhesive, but for now have reverted back to my original sticky cup mount, which has held up without a problem and is pretty discrete.

I never did use the OEM tape, I removed and replaced with the 3M dual lock. It has been a while and no issues. The key, with either application, is to clean your WS with a good cleaner && dry well before applying.

I like how tucked in your detector is however long term I don't think a sticky cup will last on the dot matrix...at least mine didn't. I had to place it just below so the suction had a tight seal on the glass with no interruption from the dots.

Sadly, in the last 24 months I've had to replace the windshield 3 times from stone hits.....so the "sticky cup outlasted the dot matrix". Actually, I've used the same sticky cup/ same placement for the R360 and previously M360c...all totaled about 2.5 yrs.
I think mine has held up for two reasons...1) clean both glass and sticky cup with iso alcohol and 2) the bottom of my detector rests slightly on the top edge of the mirror, which take some stress off the cup mount

I really like the simple metal mounts sold on Ebay with the 3M tape.

Does the 360C use the same mounting system as the Max360? This vendor doesn't explicitly mention the 360C perhaps as it's new.

Sample of mount I'm referencing:

No, the Max360 mount is not the same. The M360c and R360c are the same and use the same magnetic mount

Just received my new Redline 360c today from Best Buy. It's got some weight to it.

I'm coming from older Redline and Uniden R3, With those units, I installed permanent mounts to the top driver corner portion of the windshield, close to headliner in my vehicles for a more stealthy install being that I live in Virginia. The metal bracket/mounts for those RD's are small and discrete. Never had to worry about LE spotting even when pulling up next to me.

I didn't realize the 360c only came with the mag mount with huge suction cup. I'm looking for an option that doesn't require the suction cup on the windshield. Appears I'm limited to the magnetic mount clip to secure the RD. Saw one on eBay "Escort EZ Mag Compatible Adhesive Mount for Escort MAX360C MAX 3 Radar Detector" but it's still bulky and looks like it would leave the RD hanging low from the mount.

I looked at the rearview mirror mounts in the past but that is not ideal for me, RD is quite noticeable. Also tried one of those sunglass visor organizers that had a pocket for RD. It was ok but not ideal, especially when I needed to use the sun visor.

Anyone comes across any other options, suggestions or ideas?
You might want to look in to this. This is what I use in Ontario. Paired with EL, you'd be bulletproof. I use a V1G2 with JBV1, and it's the best setup for a banned area.

I like this set up, Westwind 77. Thanks!!! My 1st one came in yesterday. Its perfect. Not sure how long this original adhesive tape will last but that is a solvable problem. I have ordered 3 more for the other cars. A great Idea. Thanks for sharing !!

Are these downloadable anywhere like on Thingiverse or something? They look nice.
Let me perfect it and I will send you a PM. V1G1 or V1G2?

Man I’ll tell you what, I just received my Blendmount...set it up for my RL360c w/M1 on the rear view....it looks like it’s gonna work, still waiting for the RD tho. I just hate taking it off the windshield when it’s time to clean, lol. I hope this helps as it’s a more permanent solution. I have a hardwire kit and the rj11 connector comes down from the rear view as well so that makes it that much easier for me.

Thank you for this, I ordered a couple, installed one in my truck, and did like you suggested, used the magnet portion from the oem mount and while the teeth don't match to ratchet, tightening the mount holds it pretty solid, and now I can have my RL360c mounted above my rear view mirror.
