Error 4 and Error 5?

Hello folks,

Idk what it is, but my luck is not too great last couple months

first a sensor gave out, replaced the sensor. Then my rear dash cam decided to just randomly give up. I fixed that then the front dash came gave up.

now randomly, I am getting Error 4/5 : “Control box defective, service required “

can some one please chime in?

Sounds like your electrical / alternator is going bad and "spiking" your electronics. Could also be putting out Dirty non Level voltage, thus burning out your electronic devices.

THAT would be my first guess. Also your Regulator (part if your alternator) could be failing as well. Usually Regulators can be changed inexpensively and easily.

Thats my guess based on losing 3 Electronic devices.

Once I moved my CM 12v cable directly onto the battery from the fusebox I stopped getting these kind of issues.
Last error message I got was back in early 2018.
Hook your devices directly to a battery.
