I bet I already know the answer but figured I'd go to the source. I'm working on degoogling a bit, and noticed that jbv1 no longer has maps. I'd assume that means jbv1 utilizes google maps?

Since it first got maps a few years ago, JBV1 has always used Google Maps.

Thank you johnboy. Curiously jbv1 still knows what road I'm currently traveling on, different source?

Also noticed that fused provider location is now selectable. I lurk a bit and had not noticed until recently. Moving to this new phone has thus far ridded me of the persistant GPS issues the note 8 had. Thank you johnboy.

Very cool. Still very usable without the map display, but do miss the heat maps. Any possibility or plans to possibly utilize saved/downloaded google maps files?

That's against their TOS. Would get the app suspended.
