Trying to get the update, connecting via WiFi, the update has not been showing up yet. Tried directly with Detector Tools, seeing the update, but using the auto check for update, it fails right away. Tried to use manual update firmware, it went through the update 1, then at the end of update 2, it fails again. Not sure if it is not quit ready yet, or the server is just too busy since lots of update requests are hitting the server. Will try it again later. Just want to see how other had experienced.

Had same issues
DTpro(windows) works if you go under “Device” pull down and select “Update All Software “
That worked for me
You’ll need to re-pair Bluetooth and WiFi after the update

Yup. Worked on Windows very smooth, no problem. Just tried it briefly, found one new feature: When it is connected to EL, whenever detects a new alert, it will also display briefly “Reported” on radar.

Yes. Both BT and Wifi Settings are also resettled, needs to redo them.

My RL360c initially wouldn't update properly on Mac DT and would fail immediately. Once I went up to Manual Updates and Update Firmware though, it got farther but still failed.

Switching over to Windows, it updated successfully.

Exactly the same experiences. Now I just need all the LEOs out and we can do some testing :)

if i recall, they used to have this "reported" notification, I'm not sure it from max360c or RL360C, glad they added it back ! i like confirmation that it "reported".

I just notice an email from Escort that RL360c has new 1.6v firmware update available; however, I have not seen firmware update showed up thru detector's Wi-Fi. I decided to plug it USB on my computer, update went very smooth.

Detector tools pro always says it failed, but I check software version and it updated. Now my detector hasn't updated when I pull into the driveway in months like it use to.

Just a quick note that Escort is aware of the updating via MAC (apple) and is working on it (comes from update thread)

FWIW, I posted on the original thread that I just finished updating my RL360C via the WiFi connection to firmware 1.6 without any problems at all.

I also discovered that unlike the others who lost their WiFi & Bluetooth connections when they updated via Escort DT, that by updating your RL360C via WiFi you don’t lose these connections. 👍😎
