Any method to export extensive V1Driver database to Android version? That would be cool. I could use that. Currently use iPhone. But, would make my second phone, Android into a dedicated CM tool. As it is when using JBV1. Same now for V1Driver. That way, can continue to use iPhone for other work related items. Plus, I bet there are some who will convert to Android As a whole.

Also, will V1Driver work on the generic non Google OS being promoted on YouTube? Supposed to lock out the tech draconian warning of user every activity. For example, this guy has a OS.

Rob Braxman Tech.. This is one of many videos....

Sorry, there isn’t an easy path for you to export/import the database. Just not enough call for it.

If the OS supports Apps from Google Play and meets Android specs it should work. The App does use Google drive for backup and Google Maps for display of your Database.

There is a non Google OS that’s been around forever, it’s called iOS :)

P.S. The guy in that video is a quack.

iOS has much of the intrusive metadata, behavior, and key logging that Android does. And there are no alternative on Apple hardware that does not do this. So, clean open source or near open source is only choice.

You do realize that the Tesla you have on order will know exactly where you are, how fast your driving, if you've been in an accident, who you brought the car to, where you charged it, what movies you watch, what music you listen too, how many passengers you have and who knows what else. Oh and it will have a camera pointing at you. It's the ultimate iPhone on wheels. For that matter, most any modern car (like your planned C8) will know most of all that as well.

Are you going to "De-Tesla" that too?

If you don't want to be "tracked". You'll have to live in a hole somewhere.

You're biggest risk on privacy is the Apps you choose, not the OS. And what apps are allowed todo is way more restricted on iOS than Android. But Android has been cracking down on each release.
