Need a new dash cam,

so my poor BlackVue 650 finally gave up smh, I finally got it working and it decided to give up.

so I don’t want to spend $400-500 just yet on this car now,

I am working with $200 or less, any recommendations?

Assuming the BlackVue uses mini usb, a Viofo camera will work just fine with your existing hardwire kit. The A129 Duo does have an app for quick downloading like you describe.

@Ali baloch - If you're able to up your budget slightly, you can get the Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K Dual Dash Cam for $249.90 on Amazon.

The Viofo A129 Duo is 1080P system with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 30fps.

The Viofo A129 Pro Duo is 4K system with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 @30fps.

It does not use mini usb, I believe it’s same as what I currently have hard wired right now. So I spend extra $100 and won’t have to re wire anything lol

Well no, the BlackVue has its own power cable. And, the front to rear cable wouldn't work with a Viofo.

Correct black cue uses coaxial for the rear and 4.5mm for the front I think for power.

What do you think about BlackVue DR750X

If you already have a Magic Pro, you don't really need the X version. The X version has built in Magic Pro capability. You can save a little money and just get the regular 750s.

If you want something a little better than 1080P, the Viofo A129 Plus is 2K front, 1080P rear and it's under $200. I have this in my car now and so far I love it. If you are already wired for Blackvue though and don't want the hassle of rewiring then maybe one of the Blackvue Dr590 2 channel units would be a good fit. I can attest that the blackvue cameras stand up really well even in really bad crashes!

Because of cold weather and didn’t wanting to wiring again, I took a bullet and ordered DR750X 2ch. As it uses same exact wiring as my old black vue.

We released a new 4K dashcam B4K recently. Price very nice for a true 4K camera, optional rear camera, buffered parking mode and audio error alerts.
