Do any of you have a RD that you lusted after at one point...but never did purchase? For me it was the Bel RX65. It's outdated these days, but at one point it was a top notch detector.
Congrats on the RX65! Which variant did you pick up? The M4 or S7?Do any of you have a RD that you lusted after at one point...but never did purchase? For me it was the Bel RX65. It's outdated these days, but at one point it was a top notch detector.
The pic was just to illustrate the detector that I always wanted but never got. At the time I settled for a Bel Pro 200. I've since sold that unit.Congrats on the RX65! Which variant did you pick up? The M4 or S7?
Oh whoops sorry, I misunderstood. The pic was just to illustrate the detector that I always wanted but never got. At the time I settled for a Bel Pro 200. I've since sold that unit.
haha you kind of dodged a bullet there. I fired the Stinger up recently and was flabbergasted at how many BSM falses it has compared to modern options.Mine was the Stinger VIP. It was all the rage when released AND super expensive. I was very intrigued by the patch antennas, Individual LNAs for each band and powerful processors along with the large spectrum display. The price was just beyond (well beyond) what I could justify. In retrospect, I'm glad I didn't take the dive because it never achieved the performance to match it's price tag. In my opinion, there is not many remote detectors that ever have. Although I might have taken the dive on the Bel STi-R had Escort not released the RedLine and later added band seg / rdr. Back in 2009-2012 the STi-R had no peers.
