I very recently joined the RDFORUM. I have a Bel Vector 985 detector in the box. It looks good but is missing one of the suction cups for the windshield mount. I am wondering if it is worth going to the trouble of listing it on eBay as it is obviously outdated. Thanks.

They usually go for $30-$40 on eBay so it’s probably worth listing. There are lots of collectors out there that love older electronics.

Ok, here it is. And it does indeed have a setting for inverting the display.

I still have a 980, never got the 985 - but they were very similar. I used that detector for many years before I got the RX65 in 2004.

I used to have one it's still great on KA detection, I think you can turn off K band too... If I remember correctly, if you're not too far from VA pm me and I'll come buy it off you.. I want to test it against the newer Rds I have...

If it’s an S7 and it doesn’t have any errors, please let me know when you post it. I used to have one that died so I’d be interested in it.

edit: I just saw Walter offered to buy it. If that doesn’t work out I may be interested.

I am in Colorado. Bit too far to come and get it.

FCC ID is on the box. Couldn't find it at first as I was looking on the detector body itself.
