I have returned for my final testing of the year, possibly for a few months.
The guns: Falcon HR low pwered K band and Golden Eagle tuned to 34.7.
All detectors have the latest firmware versions available.
Highway modes against K band HR had Unidens K Filter and TSF both ON. All Escorts and Cobra TSR ON, RDR off, Pro M TSRej Low.
City Test: Unidens on City Mode, filters the same. Escorts and Cobra on Auto Mode TSR On, Pro M City Mode K3, TSRej Low
Each and every run is at 59 kph. I chose this as it's speed limit 60 kph and 50 kph is majority of city speed limits. Most of my quiet rides, AutoCity etc kick in at 50 kph for K band quietness in the city areas. More than 10 over can gaurantee a ticket on city streets if they are actively enforcing.
So all these detectors should give adequate warning time at 60 kph. (37 mph)
What I have discovered is some brands are consistent and you set to what sensitivity you want/need, and get reliable consistent alerts.
When left to Auto mode, it's like a box of chocolates. I actually threw away a few runs because I was unsure of doing a fair run with enough start up time.
Ka band runs, one run only, it's Christmas eve and had to get home.

The results:
Twas the Night Ka 34.7.png
Twas the Night Hwy K Band.png
Twas the Night City K Band.png

Findings:
Mighty day for the R7. In a class of it's own, even the R3 was dragging to keep up.
R3 still a beast. However, I will run Advanced 30% in the city areas if I require less than my usual 40%. City mode on the R3 really cut it back too much and into the kill zone. It didn't peg to full bars staring right at the Falcon.
Dual Pro 360 I was really rooting for do to the potential of arrows and extremely quiet performance in the city even while in Highway mode. While it hung with it's sibling Escorts closely, it struggled to place right with them. The exception to this is when in Auto Mode in the City Mode comparision. This mode makes the already quiet Cobra extremely quiet in the city and congested areas. Cobra rocked the test while using Auto Mode. Definetely a great city detector. Of note, this same detector against this same gun rocked a previous off axis test. I believe trees and foilage is the difference and it's become a pattern on all the Escorts, that heavy trees and off axis along the course inhibits the Escort/Cobra detectors abilitiy to alert more than others. Open up the area a bit and range jumps up % wise closer to the R series than these tests have shown.
Escort Max 3 was best of the rest after the Unidens on K & Ka on Highway settings. Auto Mode settings it plummets to last place as a kill zone notifier. FAIL. Again today one false Ka alert.
Max II went toe to toe on several runs today with the Max 3 on highway modes, other than it is more inconsistent than the others, good run then a Meh run. Maybe another blow to the ego of the Max 3? However Max II on the previous tests two days ago was pretty Meh itself.
Radenso Pro M is consistent, but consistently near the bottom on range. The exception to this is city (& AutoCity) modes that it has a high degree of tunability for any environment. My daily K3 TSRej Low settings did very well in the city mode test. I've run K2 before and it would do even better, K2 TSRej High would fall somewhere in between. It all depends on the K junk you face on how you configure it. Again I call this a city only detector.
Based on these tests the last few months, only the Unidens will be on my windshield for a highway drive in my area.
Cobra DualPro 360 can be the city detector, and backup for highway. It's decent enough on highway based on use and encounters so far.
Max 3 has some range, but BSMs, Ka falses, crap Auto mode and some continuing lockout concerns make it a short term possession for me.
Pro M can stay with the wife for now as she likes it and it saves me money for Theia later. She can get an R7 when Auto Lockouts arrive.
I have video runs of every pass if any requests are made I can post.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
Edit: Added a folder of the Videos to match the charts.

The Falcon HR was not moved at all during all K Band testing.
So the reduction in distance from Highway to City is a real direct comparison on what that detector does.
Kill zone is about 200 meters at those angles.
My gun set-ups.

@DC Fluid - Another great job! You have been a machine lately! I'm hoping I can figure out a few things to testing in the next week while I'm off of work.

I have been pushing to get this all done asap as I now have many home projects to get on with.
I will be taking a few months off the testing now, and only posting my findings for daily drives.
It's been my first complete 3 x Ka bands plus K testing ever.
Tapping out.

@DC Fluid , great job once again on the testing. Great presentation of the results as well.

Quick question, photos 6-9 on post #2 with the History of the initial alerts for the different detectors, is that from the Highway Radar app or a different source?

RD Test app.
Thanks for reminding me that there is something I need to do/test in the coming week, and that is to refamilarize myself with and use the RD Test app!

The hard part is getting the sound settings right for microphone and having a good mount near the detectors.
I have to turn off the unprocessed audio for it to work for me.

This is good to see, as I live in a more urban part of Florida. The Cobra DP360 did great on that city test.

Have you tried seeing if running the Cobra segmented vs. unsegmented alters the performance? I ask because @Vortex did that with the R360c (I think, or maybe it was the 360c) and his results differed (did better unsegmented I think).

So far to keep an even playing field, every detector that has a segmentation option has been 2,4,5,6,8 and as K Narrow as I can to cover me.
A comparison of all the different settings with different detectors is a big job.
I did the Pro M and R7 once against K and was almost a hundred passes for the two for all the different options combinations.
I would have to take the time to do 2 detectors together, one as a known consistent baseline, the other would be the test subject.
A lengthy process with low reward factor with so few involved.
It would have to wait for a long boring stretch of looking for something to do.
