So I got my R7 finally, kind of settings OTB but been driving around Vancouver (especially Robson st.) and getting so much K band alerts (24.xxx)
Do I need the K band? whats the best way to filter those false alarms? also, what important settings you would suggest for Vancouver & BC (and once borders finally open so Washington State:))

Thanks!!

you didn't mention what settings you were using. Try those settings to get started.
I did actually use that, but inside the city getting ton of K alarms, trying to see how can I filter them as much as I can, I keep hitting the auto mute but trying to see if there is a better way for that

another recent thread addressing K band sensitivity/annoyances.
.
.
decreasing the horn attenuation for K band and using other settings will help. While I am not a Canada driver, and don't kno the threats you face I would look at:
- Q ride setting
- Rear K mute
- K filter
- K block
- Advanced mode attenuations
.
Horn attenuation tends to work for most folk, and some have gone to using City mode.
Good luck

Fellow BC resident here, K Band is very active especially in the interior, even Hwy 1 Fraser Valley. More K every day.
I haven't found Vancouver falsing bad on my trips through.
Here's what I would run when there.
I cycle through Hwy, Adv, City modes with the long press Menu button then cycle through without going into menu, as needed as I enter different driving areas.

Good list from DC Fluid in Prince George. My settings are similar but slightly different here in Vancouver.

I fess up to copy and paste from Vortex website and modifying to what I am running today. Too lazy to find my previous posts on the topic.
All year I ran Adv K 40% and Rear K Mute off and it was very good.
