Ebay prices are NOT trustworthy. I recently had to sell my old iPhone several times just to get a real bidder who then PAYS. Essentially, they suffer from fake bidders who run it up, then send you a message saying "I won the phone...please ship it right away, it is a gift for my _______." All very scammy!!!

Being an occasional seller on ebay my experiences are a mixed bag that runs from wtf to omg. I trap predators on my farm an sell a few dozen cleaned and bleached skulls and animal tails a year. Recently sold a fox tail that was top quality that sold for dirt cheap($12 and should have sold for $40+) and had a simultaneous auction for a much lessor quaility one sell for a ridiculous amount($38 and would have been happy at $10). Never set a value at ebay prices. Bidding wars can happen that run the price up for no reason.

Yeah, it has been a while since I sold anything there, and it has really become scummy.
