Not as much as you do! I've seen some posts you've made where you drove through like 3 states with the DualPro 360. As of right now I mostly drive to class (40 minutes to and back), errands, and once every two weeks to buy food for my tarantulas. But I drive a fast car. 😈

The videos you linked are the same ones I saw and made me decide to buy the DualPro 360 (and return the Road Scout). The DualPro 360 really is a detector people should give a try.

You should get the DualPro 360, stop thinking about it 🙂.
Working it out right now.
Time and testing will tell the tale!

To my door options:
New DualPro - $632 CDN
New Max 3 - $839
Used Max 360c - $630 + an import fee perhaps for used item???

Now the Max 3 attraction is more range. MRCD and Ka falsing may be suspect
Max 360c is previous top line Escort, still currect and excellent MRCD and BSM, K Notch, most bugs worked out.
DualPro - Max 360 performance and features. New at $207 less than Max3 or prices here. Not sure about total BSM effectiveness as the Max II is noisy (needs K Notch). MRCD performance unknown. I don't know if firmware levels have this detector up to currect Max 360 abilities, or a generation behind. Some unknowns here.

DualPro is kind of unique lower volume unit that will be cool to test against other Escorts and the rest.

Based on that, would a DualPro be of good value in your opinion?
From my memory it didn't do bad in bsm now that's in kansas, I think I had three total on a 4 hour dog transport

Good luck! If my word means anything the DualPro 360 as I have said has excellent BSM filtering. Not sure about MRCD, but no detector apart from maybe the Radenso Pro-M really shines in MRCD.

You have to keep up man!🤣
Check out the latest tests from Heywood vs. MRCD.
Max 360c, R7, Pro M and even the R3 (TSF off) all did real good on rear shot MRCD.
Redline 360c was a fail.

So there is hope that DualPro has the latest MRCD firmware as the Max 360 series.

Funny story, I actually saw that thread after I what I said and shrugged my shoulders because I couldn't edit it out 😂. The Pro-M's detection was crazy at 1,200 feet!

You got to get set up and record some saves vs. LEOs and post on RDF so we can see real life Cobra saves!
Just make sure to angle the camera in a way that makes the detector look like it's mounted level. LOL!

@Vortex
If you hear back from Escort regarding the DP360 features and support outside of here, please tag me or send the response info so I can make a decision over it and Max 3 (better range, K Notch)vs.(digital, arrows).
Thanks,

Here in town at the store:
$749 + 12% taxes = $838.88
838.88 - 677.63 = 161.25 CDN savings.
There is no Max 3 deals that will ship to Canada.
12% sales tax , that is unreal!! Is that just sales tax or a combination of different taxes?? Escort owns Cobra they will NEVER sell a Cobra detector with the same features as the higher priced Escort. Bottom line; it's a business the Cobra detectors exists to hit all the lower price points. Lower price means less features. More sales more profits. If they don't make $$$ we don't have any detectors to buy.

7% provincial.
5% federal.
Get you coming and going....
I actually may save the 7% on a US order as I will have to pay the 5%, but Federal customs not so fussy about collecting PST.

Can anyone post here what firmware version is current for the DualPro?
Lockup issues addressed?

The DualPro 360 doesn't have some of the customization options the Max 360 and Max 360c have (like extra sounds, arrow customization, detection display, etc), but honestly I can live without them and really you're still getting Max 360 detection for $50 less but with better filtering (in my experience, and having driven with both), you just get less customization options and that's fine with me. The only cheap Cobra's such as the iRad, Rad 450 and 480i are junk, and nobody here on the forum takes them seriously. But yeah at the end of the day, Escort radars are associated with quality and Cobra with the exception of two are leaky, pointed at the sky, and suck.

I've thought about it. As for keeping the Cobra level....Well I am the owner of the rare level-mounted Cobra radar detector that is NOT pointed at the sky.

I know it's shocking isn't it? A Cobra that isn't pointed at the sky! Alert the media and start the presses! I also have irrefutable evidence of Bigfoot, Alien life, and the Lochness Monster. 😈

Thanks,

Sorry didn't see your message. My Cobra says it's firmware version is: "Master Version 1.2" which is the current one. Haven't had any lockup issues yet either.

The only good detectors Cobra has are the ones they brought over from Escort. All of the others stink and that goes for the Duel Pro detector dash cam combo unit. It's been tested and it's right at the bottom with all the other Cobra and Whistler detectors. If some one is looking for a good detector at a nice price go for the Uniden R3. No arrows but at about $300 who cares, it's the best bargain out their.

Well thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences, I'm sure the others on here that haven't had the same experiences are either lying or dont have your superior knowledge.

It is a good looking unit and clean install.
But maybe get a bubble level on there to be sure....

With all due respect did you read my post? We literally said the same thing...I and everyone with a functioning brain knows that the Cobra detectors prior to Cedar Electronics acquiring Cobra were junk. I even said in my post the newer but cheaper ones, were and are junk. You're tracking the dashcam/RD combo is the Road Scout and not the "Duel Pro" right? Using your own words, the DualPro 360 is a good detector because it was built on Escort technology. Glad we agree  . And also...

I know they both look so similar even the brightest among us mix them up.

Thats an impressive collection you got there. I actually found some footage from my dashcam that corresponds with what I posted with regard to Ka encounters and I will try to splice some videos together.
