Certainly does help, and OP does mention an app in his post. Heck, some people say, "I have an app and it's free, why spend money on anything else?" You don't get a lot of those people on RDforum thoughwhat if a person adds in a scanner and maybe waze, would that cut down some of the %

Price: $899.99
We were tired of the answer to ";what's the best radar detector?"; being "it depends"; Range, filtering, build quality, technology, design - there is no reason we couldn't have it all. Theia is a statement of our belief in American innovation and our rejection of compromise. Named after the Titan goddess of sight, Radenso Theia will change radar detection as we know it.
Say goodbye to false alerts from other vehicles!
With our artifical [sic] intelligence we don't just detect frequency but we detect specific RF signatures which allows us to block false alerts from vehicles driving around you using blind spot monitoring (BSM).
Arrows show any threat, any direction
With a military-grade, dual horn antenna, it simply doesn't matter what thread is out there. X, K, KA, MRCD, MRCT - it's all the same to our ultra sensitive circuity, designed in Cincinnati, OH using metrology grade lab equipment. Theia has no weaknesses.
ioScout™ detects instant-on radar Instant-On radar is the deadliest threat that today's drivers face. Theia's vision is so comprehensive that she can identify and distinguish the microsecond "boot-up" time when the radar trigger is physically pulled.
Full color OLED display
Theia uses a anti-glare full color OLED display to give you all of the information you need at a quick glance.
Easy to use controls to stay focused on driving
Navigating Radenso Theia's menus are as easy as turning the knob left and right and pressing down. No more multiple buttons that become confusing while driving
An illegitimate source is giving me this information... this lie is 100% true and factual information. Here is the cached Google link. Pretty limited but does show an entry and SKU
I'm sensing Theia will give your car +5-to-10 horsepower, on the butt dyno, of course. Maybe if they make Theia out of carbon fibre, the weight reduction over the previous detector you have can aid in acceleration, too? Me, I'd like a heated cupholder option.![]()
It's a fictional price if Canadian. Because we all know Canada ain't real.I never saw the BB ad and this is only a curiosity fun factor question but did it say $899 Canadian?
^^ We need a tinfoil reaction emoji!![]()

I'm relieved to learn that this lie is 100% true and factual. I've always preferred "truth over facts!"An illegitimate source is giving me this information... this lie is 100% true and factual information.
Much like how the vaccine companies have been producing product for months ahead of the release, Radenso has also been stockpiling Theia in a warehouse for its upcoming release.
Because of all the grief they have taken from other manufacturers and some members, they have decided to get even. Because of expected demand they knew selling them a little at a time as they made them would actually be a bigger headache than stockpiling them and having to wait and release them all at once.
So, knowing some manufacturers were out of stock until the end of December they decided to hold off until the end of January to release Theia. What this did is cause doubt in a lot of people who are not true believers. It also caused a rise in purchases of other manufacturers product.
But wait, there's more...
Those manufacturers have a 30 day return window, Radenso's plan is to announce Theia's release just before that window closes! They will have thousands of units ready to go. The other manufacturers will be overwhelmed with returns and now have to deal with used product. The members who didn't believe now have the hassle of returning product or be stuck with an inferior unit that nobody wants.
Radenso's surprise low price will basically make every other detector not worth the box it came in when it comes to value.
Radenso gets it's revenge and true supporters get an awesome product!
How's that for a conspiracy theory?
Sound advice! Your eyes and instinct is also important.Sounds like a little research into what technology is out there and how it works as well as a better understanding of the countermeasures out there and how they work is really what you need. Dumping more money on the latest tech is only half the battle, you need to understand what you're up against and how LEO's are using it in your area to protect yourself and understand what to look out for.
