I've been told and also read it someplace that the true definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over and expecting a different outcome than the repeated proven result IE YOUR trolling has produced NOTHING but more importantly nothing of any value!

I don't personally know what RD you are currently running, but if it is an Escort (especially an old one without even arrows), that explains so many things! In my opinion the three worst manufactures in this niche space are Rocky Mountain Radar, K40, and Escort. The first two because I would not be caught dead driving with one of their RDs and Escort because they make cheap crap and charge the most outrageous prices for them! Escort is the first company in the space that has had the resources and outright capital to have built an RD that was an actual signal identifier eliminating BSM, but they have purposely chosen not to (probably due to greed).

I see no harping from you about the outrageous price of the Escort RL360c at $750 which is nothing special (nor remotely worth $750) much less for the RL360c not being a true RD as Theia will be IE the first ever Radar Detector that actually does what it is supposed to do Identify Police Radar not alert to anything and everything in the frequency bandpass of the Police Radar Bands!

Now go find some driveways to shove snow out of so you can save your pennies to buy Theia when it finally arrives because from your 33 out of 38 posts, we can tell you are just dying to own an RD with Arrows!

I’ve only read the first 8 pages (of 17) so far but except for the few that want pure luxury or exclusivity, I believe many people buy based on perceived value. There are many $1000 items I balk at, and others I gladly spend on since they seem like a good value.

If money was no object, then the right choice for driving PSL+15 would be:
ALP laser jammers with quad heads, $1339.00
Radenso Theia, $1000.00
Waze and JBV1 in standalone mode.
Total with installation would be $2500!

With this level of protection, according to my experience of defending over 6k tickets, you chance of getting a speeding ticket would still be around 20 %.
If you dropped the ALP laser jammers, you chances would increase to 60%.
If you ran a V1G2 or a Uniden R7, or even a Uniden R1, your chances would remain the same.

Lately, my experience suggests that 40% Laser, 40% Ka-Band Radar and 20% Pacing.
50% of the 100mph+ tickets on the Interstate is with pacing.

Radenso Theia would not protect against the 40% laser and 20% pacing tickets.

Is the $500 extra of the Uniden R7 or Valentie 1 Gen. 2 worth the quietness, without the added protection?

what if a person adds in a scanner and maybe waze, would that cut down some of the %
